Union Minister JP Nadda Attends Cultural Event Organised by Embassy of Mongolia

Union Minister JP Nadda attended a cultural event organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Delhi, celebrating the deep-rooted ties between India and Mongolia.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Nadda highlighted the growing collaboration between the two nations in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals. “As the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, I am proud of our growing partnership in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Together, we are working to strengthen healthcare systems, expand access to affordable medicines, and exchange expertise in traditional medicine, improving the lives of our citizens,” he said.

He further emphasized the historical and cultural connections that bind the two countries. “India and Mongolia share a relationship that transcends geography. Rooted in history, our friendship is built on the shared spiritual and cultural foundations that go back two millennia. Buddhism, which has been a cornerstone of both cultures, is a powerful thread that continues to bind us together. Our relationship is shaped by the eternal teachings of Lord Buddha, which continue to guide both our nations in compassion, wisdom, and peace,” Nadda added.

The event showcased Mongolian art, music, and traditions, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the nation. Officials from both countries expressed commitment to strengthening bilateral ties in multiple fields, including culture, healthcare, education, and trade.
