New Delhi - Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has responded to the controversial remarks made by Sam Pitroda, Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress. Pitroda’s comments, which suggested that people in the East look like Chinese and those in the South look like Africans, have sparked a heated debate.

Chandrasekhar criticized the divisive nature of the comments, stating, “On one hand you have ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, ‘Mohabbat ki dukaan’, and inclusivity, and on the other hand you have racist and divisive comments like Arabs, Chinese, and Africans.”

The Union Minister also pointed out the contradictory statements within the Congress party. He highlighted the comments made by DK Suresh, the brother of Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, about South India seceding from North India. He also mentioned the insults directed towards North India and the Sanatana Dharma by the INDI alliance partners.

“In a lot of ways, what is playing out in front of us is the Congress’ ideology- full of hypocrisy, full of divisiveness, full of lies, and constant attempt to divide Indians and make India weak,” Chandrasekhar said.

The Union Minister’s comments have brought the issue of divisive politics to the forefront, raising questions about the unity and inclusivity of the nation. The controversy continues to unfold as the nation awaits further responses from the involved parties.
