Union Minister Giriraj Singh Criticizes Mamata Banerjee’s Remarks During UK Visit

Union Minister Giriraj Singh has sharply criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her recent remarks made at a college in the United Kingdom during her visit. Singh accused Banerjee of "hiding the truth" and "insulting India" on foreign soil, particularly in front of an international audience.

“Hiding the truth and insulting India, both are done by Mamata Banerjee. Today, the whole world is seeing and respecting our growing economy... but unfortunately, when Mamata Banerjee and the 'tukde-tukde gang' go abroad, they insult India. This is unfortunate,” Singh said, referring to the controversial remarks made by Banerjee during her UK visit.

Singh’s comments come after Mamata Banerjee, during her visit to the UK, reportedly criticized the central government and its policies, including issues related to economic growth and social harmony. Singh’s reference to the "tukde-tukde gang" is likely a reference to Banerjee’s alleged connections with groups that the BJP claims have anti-national inclinations.

The Union Minister’s statement underscores the ongoing political tensions between the ruling BJP and the opposition, with Singh accusing Banerjee of undermining the country’s international image while promoting an agenda critical of the government.

As Mamata Banerjee’s UK visit continues to stir debate, her remarks are expected to fuel further political discourse, with the BJP seeking to portray the West Bengal CM as disloyal to India’s interests.
