In a recent statement, Union Minister Anurag Thakur has criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, questioning his morality and calling him selfish.

Thakur expressed his astonishment at Kejriwal’s actions, stating, “I am seeing it for the first time someone who was sent to jail in a corruption case and the court has granted bail for a few days to campaign. That person seeks votes by saying that vote for me so that I won’t have to go to jail. It shows how selfish this person is.”

The Union Minister further added that if Kejriwal had any morality, he should resign from his position as the Chief Minister. He also mentioned that Bhagwant Mann, the current Chief Minister, has stated that Kejriwal will be jailed again on June 2.

This statement comes amid a series of allegations and counter-allegations between the ruling party and the opposition. The political scenario in Delhi has been heated, with several leaders making strong statements against each other.

Kejriwal’s alleged corruption case and subsequent bail have been a point of contention, with several leaders questioning his integrity. His plea to the public to vote for him to avoid jail has been criticized as a selfish act, with leaders like Thakur calling for his resignation.

As the political drama unfolds, the citizens of Delhi await the next move from their leaders. With the date of Kejriwal’s potential imprisonment looming, the city is bracing for more political upheaval.
