New Delhi - In a significant political development, Tajinder Singh Bittu, former AICC Secretary In-Charge of Himachal Pradesh, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today at the party headquarters in Delhi. His induction into the party was marked by the presence of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and BJP general secretary Vinod Tawde.

Earlier today, Bittu had resigned from his post in the All India Congress Committee (AICC) and also renounced his primary membership of the Congress party. The reasons behind his resignation remain undisclosed.

Bittu’s shift to the BJP marks a significant moment in the political landscape, especially considering his influential role in the Congress party’s operations in Himachal Pradesh. His experience and leadership are expected to be a valuable addition to the BJP.

The BJP leadership has welcomed Bittu into the party fold. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw expressed his pleasure at Bittu’s decision to join the BJP and hoped that his presence would strengthen the party’s position in Himachal Pradesh.

On the other hand, the Congress party has yet to officially comment on Bittu’s resignation and subsequent shift to the BJP.

As the political scenario continues to evolve, it remains to be seen what impact Bittu’s move will have on the political dynamics in Himachal Pradesh and at the national level.
