In a spirited public rally held in South Delhi, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami endorsed Ramvir Singh Bidhuri as the Lok Sabha candidate from the constituency. The rally, attended by thousands of supporters, was marked by Dhami’s fervent appeal to the electorate to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) symbol, the Lotus.

“South Delhi has always nourished nationalist ideology,” Dhami said, addressing the crowd. “On May 25, all of you have to bloom the Lotus in South Delhi. Every vote to the Lotus will go in the favour of the country and will provide strength to PM Modi.”

The Uttarakhand CM’s endorsement comes at a crucial time as the Lok Sabha elections draw near. His appeal to the nationalist sentiment of the South Delhi electorate is seen as a strategic move to consolidate the BJP’s position in the constituency.

Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, the BJP candidate, expressed gratitude for the support and vowed to work tirelessly for the development of South Delhi. “I am humbled by the faith shown in me by our party and the people of South Delhi. I assure you that I will leave no stone unturned in serving you,” Bidhuri said.

The rally ended on a high note with Dhami urging the crowd to turn out in large numbers on polling day. “Your vote is your voice. Make it count. Let’s strengthen our democracy and our nation,” he concluded.

The Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held on May 25. As the date approaches, political activities are intensifying across the country. The South Delhi constituency, known for its nationalist leanings, is set to witness a keenly contested battle.
