Facing Challenges

Modi acknowledged the challenges faced by women at home and expressed his gratitude for the ‘suraksha kavach’ (protective shield) given to him by the people of India. Despite opposition from powerful people in India and around the world, he stated that he has been able to face all challenges.

Women’s Safety and Security

The Prime Minister emphasized that the safety and security of women is his priority. He highlighted his government’s efforts in associating 10 crore women with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) over the past 10 years.

‘Lakhpati Didi’ Initiative

Under the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ initiative, 1 crore women have become ‘Lakhpati Didi’, whose annual income is more than Rs 1 lakh. Modi announced his next aim to make 3 crore women as ‘Lakhpati Didi’.

As India continues to strive for gender equality and women empowerment, these initiatives by the Prime Minister signal a positive step towards achieving these goals.
