Babita Phogat has accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of instigating the rioting in Jahangirpuri, describing it as a party of thieves and goons. Arvind Kejriwal and the Congress were also blasted by her. Bulldozers razed many structures in Jahangirpuri earlier today during a North Delhi Municipal Corporation anti-encroachment sweep, but the operation was halted after a Supreme Court injunction.
The meeting was attended by Assam's border region development minister, Atul Bora, as well as chief secretaries and top officials from both states.
The party has completed a membership drive and has set up a timeline for internal elections.
