The Karnataka education department also ordered the Block Education Officer (BEO) to review all Christian schools in the state's curriculum to see if bible reading is required.

The German minister is not in India to preach or instruct about the Ukraine issue.

Tobias Lindner, Germany's state secretary for foreign affairs, stated that what is happening in Ukraine is a massive attack on international rules-based order, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. According to him, upholding the UN Charter should be in everyone's best interests.

From May 2-4, Prime Minister Modi will go to Germany, Denmark, and France.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced the visit on Wednesday, saying that the prime minister will fly to Germany first, then to Denmark, with a brief stopover in Paris on his way back on May 4.
