Indian Government Responds to Kuwait Fire Incident

New Delhi, India - In the wake of the tragic fire incident in Kuwait, Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, expressed the Indian government’s solidarity with the victims.

“We stand with the victims of the Kuwait fire incident, we express our sympathy to them,” Singh said in a statement. This comes after a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where the situation was discussed in detail.

The minister further added that a delegation from the Indian government will be travelling to Kuwait tomorrow morning to assess the situation firsthand. “We will take stock of the situation and those who are admitted to the hospital,” Singh stated, highlighting the government’s commitment to providing support in this time of crisis.

The identification process of those who have died in the incident is currently underway. Singh noted that a significant number of the victims are from Kerala and other parts of South India. The government is working closely with local authorities in Kuwait to expedite the process and provide necessary assistance to the families affected.

The Indian government’s swift response underscores its commitment to the welfare of its citizens abroad. As the situation unfolds, further updates are expected from the delegation’s visit to Kuwait.
