Delhi - The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a notice to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi, following allegations made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and North East Delhi candidate, Manoj Tiwari.

Tiwari stated, “All her allegations were baseless. We warned her, but she did not apologise. We complained about this matter to the Election Commission. Now, the ECI has issued her a notice.” He further accused the AAP leaders, especially Atishi, of consistently maligning the image of the BJP.

Tiwari Criticizes Congress’ Election Manifesto

In response to the Congress’ Election Manifesto, Tiwari said, “Congress is far from justice. There is a long distance between Congress and Justice… The whole nation knows that the Congress is a symbol of injustice, atrocity and corruption.”

These statements come amidst the heated political climate in the country, with parties gearing up for the upcoming elections. The ECI’s notice to Atishi and Tiwari’s comments on the Congress’ manifesto highlight the intense political rivalry and the high stakes involved in the electoral battle.
