Delhi Political Drama: Kejriwal’s Challenge and BJP’s Counter

The political atmosphere in Delhi heated up yesterday as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal issued a bold challenge to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating, “Tomorrow, I am coming to the BJP HQ at 12 noon with all my top leaders. You can put in jail whoever you want.”

Kejriwal’s statement came amidst ongoing tensions between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the BJP. The Delhi CM’s remark was seen as a direct challenge to the BJP, escalating the political drama in the capital.

However, the BJP was quick to respond. Delhi BJP chief Virendraa Sachdeva hit back at Kejriwal, accusing him of creating unnecessary drama. “Stop doing this drama. We are asking you just one thing - you did not break your silence even 6 days after your woman MP was beaten up at your residence,” Sachdeva said.

Sachdeva was referring to an incident that took place last week, where a woman MP from the AAP was allegedly assaulted at Kejriwal’s residence. The incident has caused a major uproar, with the BJP demanding an explanation from the AAP.

“Tell us who is responsible for the misbehaviour with the woman MP. Why have you not broken your silence over it?” Sachdeva further questioned Kejriwal.

The BJP’s counter-challenge puts the spotlight back on the AAP, which is now under pressure to address the allegations regarding the assault on the woman MP. As the political drama unfolds in Delhi, the citizens await a resolution to these escalating tensions.

As of now, Kejriwal has not responded to Sachdeva’s counter-challenge. The political scenario in Delhi remains tense, with both parties standing their ground. The coming days will reveal how this political drama will unfold and what impact it will have on Delhi’s political landscape.
