Delhi BJP President Raises Concerns Over Removal of Vocational Teachers; Urges LG's Intervention

Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva has raised serious concerns over the abrupt removal of approximately 600 vocational teachers in the capital. Speaking after a meeting with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, Sachdeva highlighted the sudden dismissal of these teachers and questioned the rationale provided by the Delhi government.

According to Sachdeva, the Delhi government attributed the decision to the ongoing heatwave conditions. "There are around 600 vocational teachers in Delhi. They were removed suddenly from their jobs. When the Delhi government was asked why, they said that it was being done due to the heatwave," he stated.

Expressing dismay over the justification provided, Sachdeva emphasized the adverse impact of such decisions on the affected teachers and the educational system. "Our MPs have met and requested LG to take this matter into cognizance," he added, underscoring the urgency of addressing the issue.

The meeting with Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena marks a significant move by the Delhi BJP to seek redressal for what they perceive as an unjustified action affecting the livelihoods of vocational teachers. Sachdeva's statements reflect broader concerns within the party regarding governance and policy decisions impacting education and employment sectors in Delhi.

As the issue gains traction, stakeholders await further developments and potential interventions from the Lieutenant Governor's office to address the grievances raised by the BJP and affected teachers. The outcome of these efforts could have far-reaching implications for educational policies and administrative decisions in the national capital.
