New Delhi - In a recent statement, Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva has accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of being anti-women. The accusation comes after AAP leaders were seen in the company of an individual accused of assaulting Swati Maliwal, the Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women.

Sachdeva stated, “Last night, Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, and Bibhav were seen together at Lucknow airport. This shows Arvind Kejriwal himself stands with the oppression of women. The person who has been accused of assaulting Swati Maliwal is roaming around with him. This is the real face of Aam Aadmi Party which is anti-women.”

The BJP leader’s comments have sparked a new controversy in the political landscape of Delhi. The alleged association of AAP leaders with an accused individual has raised questions about the party’s stance on women’s safety and rights.

The Aam Aadmi Party, led by Arvind Kejriwal, has yet to respond to these allegations. The incident has put the spotlight on the party’s commitment to ensuring the safety and dignity of women in Delhi.

This development comes at a time when women’s safety has become a significant issue in Indian politics. Political parties are under increasing pressure to demonstrate their commitment to tackling gender-based violence and promoting women’s rights.

The BJP’s accusation against the AAP is likely to intensify the political rivalry between the two parties. It remains to be seen how this incident will impact the AAP’s image and its future political strategies.
