Cyclone Remal Triggers Natural Disasters in North-East India: Union Home Minister Assures All Possible Help

New Delhi, India - Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed deep concern over the natural disasters triggered by Cyclone Remal in the North-Eastern states of Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Mizoram.

In a tweet, Shah revealed that he has briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the situation. The Prime Minister expressed solidarity with those affected by the cyclone. Shah also mentioned that he has spoken to the respective state Chief Ministers, taken stock of the situation, and assured them of all possible help from the central government.

“Our thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones and prayers with those injured for a speedy recovery,” Shah tweeted, expressing empathy for the victims of the disaster. He further added that the situation is being closely monitored and authorities are providing all possible assistance to the affected regions.

Cyclone Remal has caused significant damage in the North-Eastern states, leading to loss of life and property. The central and state governments are working in tandem to provide relief and rehabilitation to the affected people.

The Union Home Minister’s assurance of all possible help is expected to expedite the relief measures and aid in the speedy recovery of the affected regions. The nation stands in solidarity with the North-Eastern states in these testing times.
