New Delhi - A recent comment by Sam Pitroda, Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress, has ignited a political firestorm. Pitroda’s controversial remark, “People in East look like Chinese, in South look like Africans…” has been met with severe backlash, particularly from BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla.

Poonawalla expressed his shock and disgust at Pitroda’s comment, calling it “despicable” and “disgusting”. He went on to link Pitroda’s words to Rahul Gandhi, stating, “He is the mentor of Rahul Gandhi. It is the word, spirit, vocabulary and ideology of Rahul Gandhi…”

Poonawalla accused the Congress of dividing the nation on the basis of caste, religion, and language, and now, he claims, they are pitting Indian against Indian. He questioned the racial undertones of Pitroda’s comment, asking, “And to make a comment like Indians are like Chinese, isn’t it a racist comment?.. Isn’t it an insulting and objectionable comment?”

The BJP leader concluded his statement with a sharp critique of the Congress party, saying, “It shows that ‘Congress ki Mohabbat ki Dukan actually has Nafrat and Racism ka Saman’…”

This incident has stirred up a heated debate in the political sphere, with many waiting to see how the Congress party will respond to these allegations. As the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen what impact this will have on the political landscape of the country.
