Delhi, India - In a recent statement, BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam criticized the Congress party for their approach towards minorities and their political ideology.

Gautam questioned the absence of senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal when former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh declared that ‘the minorities have the first right on the country’s resources… ours is the party of Muslims’. He further questioned where the Congress leaders were when rights of Dalits, backwards, and women were being discussed to be given to minorities.

Accusing the Congress party of acting towards the ‘Islamisation’ of the country, Gautam contrasted this with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inclusive slogan, ‘sab ka sath sab ka vikaas’. He stated that PM Modi ensures the benefits of every scheme reach everyone, irrespective of their religion, be it Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, or Christian.

Gautam further accused the Congress party of doing politics of religion and appeasement. He claimed that the Congress party is trying to fool Hindus as they are losing support from the Muslim community. He concluded by saying that these actions clearly show that PM Modi is moving towards the majority.

This statement from Gautam has sparked a new debate in the political circles, further intensifying the ongoing political discourse in the country.
