BJP-Led NDA Predicted to Win: Exit Polls 2024

New Delhi, India - The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is projected to secure a comfortable victory in the 2024 general elections, marking a third consecutive term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to most pollsters.

The predictions suggest significant gains for the NDA in states like West Bengal and Telangana, mirroring its performance in the 2019 elections. The alliance is also expected to make inroads into Tamil Nadu and Kerala, marking its debut in these states.

However, the NDA may see a dip in its tally in states like Bihar, Rajasthan, and Haryana. Exit polls, conducted immediately after voters leave polling stations, aim to predict the outcome of an election before official results are available.

Congress spokesperson and media department chairperson, Pawan Khera, stated that the voters have cast their votes and their verdict has been secured.

Khera added that the party doesn’t “see any reason to indulge in speculation and slugfest for TRP.” This decision underscores the party’s commitment to respecting the electoral process and the voters’ mandate.
