New Delhi - In a recent political development, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, criticized Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s decision to field her son, Rahul Gandhi, from the Raebareli constituency.

Chouhan, known for his outspoken nature, did not mince words when he said, “She (Sonia Gandhi) is not entrusting but imposing him (Rahul Gandhi) on Raebareli. She imposed him on Congress, and it was defeated. She imposed him on Amethi, Rahul lost there and now she has imposed him on Raebareli, he will lose in Raebareli too…”

The BJP leader’s comments come in the wake of the Congress party’s recent electoral defeats. Rahul Gandhi, former Congress President, lost his Amethi seat in the previous general elections, marking a significant setback for the party.

Chouhan’s remarks have stirred the political pot, sparking debates about the Congress party’s leadership and electoral strategy. His prediction about Rahul Gandhi’s defeat in Raebareli remains to be seen as the constituency gears up for the upcoming elections.

The BJP, on the other hand, is confident about its prospects, banking on its development agenda and anti-corruption stance to sway voters. As the political temperature rises, all eyes are on Raebareli, waiting to see if Chouhan’s prediction will come true or if the Congress party will manage to turn the tide in its favor.
