BJP Leader Rohan Gupta Accuses Congress of Spreading Lies on Reservation

Delhi - BJP leader Rohan Gupta, in a recent statement, accused the Congress party of spreading misinformation about the reservation policies. He stated that the central government’s schemes have started reaching the most backward classes, leading to a shift in their political allegiance.

“The traditional vote bank of Congress is slipping out of their control,” Gupta said. He added that the people have started realizing who is genuinely working for their welfare.

Gupta, a former Congress member, has been vocal about the need for the party to accept the reality. “Ever since I left Congress, I have been saying that they need to accept the reality,” he stated.

He further clarified that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP have never expressed opposition to reservation. He accused the Congress of spreading rumours that reservation would be removed if BJP wins more than 400 seats. “Spreading such rumours tells that the Congress is rattled,” Gupta said.

He attributed the BJP’s victory in Chhattisgarh to the benefits that the SC and ST communities have received from government schemes. “SC and ST people have benefited from government schemes. That is why BJP has been able to win Chhattisgarh,” he concluded.

The BJP leader’s comments come at a time when the political landscape is witnessing significant shifts, with traditional vote banks exploring new political alternatives. The impact of these shifts on future elections remains to be seen.
