BJP Accuses AAP of Political Maneuvering Ahead of Kejriwal's Court Appearances

Virendraa Sachdeva, the State President of BJP Delhi, has sparked controversy with his recent remarks regarding Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Addressing the media in Delhi, Sachdeva alleged that AAP orchestrates a narrative to garner sympathy for Kejriwal whenever his court appearances loom.

Sachdeva claimed, "Whenever Arvind Kejriwal's date of appearing in the court approaches, the entire eco-system of AAP starts spreading different types of news." He suggested that Kejriwal's political influence has waned, further insinuating that a panel of doctors from AIIMS is managing Kejriwal's health, with concerns that he may deliberately restrict his diet to manipulate medical reports for sympathy.

The BJP leader's comments come amidst ongoing political tensions between AAP and BJP in Delhi, with both parties gearing up for upcoming electoral battles and ongoing legal battles.

Additionally, Sachdeva criticized the Mohalla bus initiative, questioning the Delhi government's management of public transportation. "The Delhi Minister should be asked about what happened to the DTC buses," he remarked, highlighting alleged shortcomings in the Delhi Transport Corporation's fleet. He asserted that there is a shortage of DTC buses in the city, coinciding with an impending end to agreements, dismissing the Mohalla bus project as a "complete eyewash."

The BJP's critique of the AAP government's initiatives, coupled with pointed remarks on Kejriwal's health and political strategy, underscores the intensifying political rhetoric in Delhi ahead of crucial electoral contests. The allegations made by Sachdeva are likely to fuel further debate and scrutiny in the lead-up to future elections in the national capital.

Kejriwal and AAP have yet to officially respond to Sachdeva's claims, leaving room for continued political discourse and public scrutiny over the coming days.
