Athawale Confident of BJP’s Comeback in Upcoming UP Assembly Elections

New Delhi - Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, in a recent statement, dismissed the remarks made by Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Shivpal Yadav, who suggested that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should resign on moral grounds in Uttar Pradesh (UP).

Athawale asserted that the BJP remains strong in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. He acknowledged that the BJP did not secure enough seats in the recent Lok Sabha elections, but he was quick to add that this does not signify the end of the BJP in UP.

“When Assembly elections will take place in the state, BJP will come back to power again,” Athawale confidently stated. He further emphasized the strength of the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, citing the party’s success in securing a significant number of seats in several states, including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, and Bihar.

The Union Minister’s comments come in response to SP leader Shivpal Yadav’s call for the BJP to resign on moral grounds in UP. However, Athawale’s firm stance indicates that the BJP is not ready to back down and is gearing up for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.

With the political landscape in UP heating up, all eyes are now on the upcoming Assembly elections, which will be a crucial test for both the BJP and its opponents.
