Delhi, India - In a recent political rally, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made some bold statements that have stirred the political landscape. Sarma, a prominent figure in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), addressed a crowd of supporters, outlining his party’s ambitious plans for the future.

“When Congress asks us why do you need 400 seats? When we got 300 seats we built the Ram Mandir,” Sarma began, referring to the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a significant achievement for the BJP. He then made a bold prediction, “Now when we get 400 seats, Krishna Janmabhoomi will be built and Baba Vishwanath Mandir will also be built in place of Gyanvapi Mosque.”

Sarma’s comments come at a time when the BJP has been making significant strides in various state elections. His statement implies a direct correlation between the party’s electoral success and its ability to fulfill its religious objectives, a sentiment that resonates with a significant portion of the party’s voter base.

The Assam CM didn’t stop there. He criticized the Congress party for their alleged inaction on the issue of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). “During Congress’ rule, no discussions were held in the Parliament regarding PoK,” he claimed.

In a final note, Sarma expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. “Soon, Pak-occupied Kashmir will become part of our country under the leadership of PM Modi,” he declared, indicating the party’s stance on the contentious issue.

These statements have sparked a flurry of reactions across the political spectrum. While BJP supporters have lauded Sarma’s boldness, critics argue that such statements could further polarize the already complex socio-political landscape of the country.

As the political discourse continues to evolve, it remains to be seen how these predictions will impact the BJP’s electoral prospects and the country’s future.
