Delhi, India - In a significant political development, former Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The move comes amid a period of internal turmoil and fragmentation within the Congress party.

Lovely, in his statement, expressed his disillusionment with the Congress party, which he believes has strayed from its original ideals. He quoted former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, saying, “Indira ji ne bola tha Mere khoon ka katra katra iss desh ke liye hai (Indira ji had said that every drop of my blood is for this country).”

However, Lovely feels that the Congress party has deviated from this path. “Aaj Congress Party Katre Katre se Tukde Tukde tak pahunch gayi hain (Today, the Congress party has reached a state of fragmentation, piece by piece),” he lamented.

Lovely believes that the BJP, on the other hand, is working towards the development of the country. This belief has been a significant factor in his decision to switch parties. “That’s why we’ve decided to join BJP which is working for the development of the country,” he stated.

The move marks a significant shift in Delhi’s political landscape, and it remains to be seen how this will impact the Congress party’s standing in the region.
