Prime Minister Modi to Chair 9th NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting with Focus on ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to chair the 9th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog on July 27, 2024, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in New Delhi. This year’s meeting is centered around the theme ‘Viksit Bharat@2047,’ with a primary focus on the vision of transforming India into a developed nation by its 100th year of independence.

The meeting will be a significant event in India’s developmental discourse, as it will involve in-depth discussions on the Approach Paper for the Vision Document of ‘Viksit Bharat@2047.’ The document outlines strategic goals and initiatives aimed at fostering comprehensive development across various sectors to enhance the quality of life for all citizens.

A key objective of the Governing Council Meeting is to promote participative governance and strengthen collaboration between the Centre and State Governments.
