PM Modi Embarks on Diplomatic Visit to Russia and Austria, Aims to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

"In the upcoming days, I will be visiting Russia and Austria. During his visit to Russia, PM Modi is slated to engage in substantive discussions with President Vladimir Putin, aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors. "I am keen to discuss all facets of our bilateral cooperation with President Putin and explore avenues for expanding our partnership," PM Modi affirmed.

India's Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership with Russia has seen significant advancements in areas such as defense, energy, trade, investment, science and technology, and cultural exchanges. PM Modi's visit seeks to build on these achievements and further deepen mutual understanding and collaboration.

Following his visit to Russia, PM Modi will travel to Austria, marking a historic occasion as the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the country in four decades. "During my visit to Austria, I look forward to meeting President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Karl Nehammer. Austria is a trusted partner of India, sharing our commitment to democracy, pluralism, and global peace," PM Modi emphasized.
