Navjot Singh Sidhu, the Punjab Congress chairman, questioned the timing of recent Enforcement Directorate raids, calling them "political vendettas," but insisted that he was not handing anyone a clean chit. Sidhu further said that if a "clear agenda" for the state is included in the poll manifesto, his party will win at least 70 seats out of 117 in the next state assembly elections.

China 'finds' an Arunachal youngster, and the process of identifying him is underway.

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has informed the Indian Army that a youngster has been discovered on its side of the Line of Actual Control, however it is unclear whether he is the same teen who went missing from Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang area on January 18.
