Delhi - In a recent statement, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya accused the Congress and INDI alliance of robbing the rights of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). He claimed that the reservation meant for OBCs is being unjustly given to Muslims, which he sees as an attempt to rob the rights of OBCs.

Maurya stated, “The way in which OBC’s reservation has been peeled off and given to Muslims is an attempt to rob the rights of OBCs.” He further added that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has always supported ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ (Development for all).

The Deputy CM also criticized the Congress for its history of appeasement politics. He referred to a statement by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who had said that Muslims have the first right on the nation’s resources. Maurya argued that this statement was against the constitution of India and its makers.

This statement comes at a time when the political climate in the country is charged, with various parties vying for the support of different communities. The issue of reservation and the rights of different communities continue to be a significant point of contention in Indian politics.

The Congress and INDI alliance have yet to respond to these allegations. As the political discourse unfolds, the citizens of India wait to see how this will impact the political landscape and the upcoming elections.
