Political Tensions Rise: AAP Leader’s Arrest Claim Sparks Controversy

In a recent turn of events, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has made a bold claim that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) will arrest her if she does not join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This statement has sparked a heated debate in the political arena.

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla responded to Atishi’s claim, questioning the AAP’s allegations of vendetta politics. He pointed out that the courts have denied bail and relief to several AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, Vijay Nair, and Manish Sisodia.

Poonawalla asked, “Are they implying courts are doing vendetta? Are they implying that the courts are hand in glove with the BJP and are orchestrating this? If they have all the evidence in their command why don’t the courts give them relief?”

He further criticized the AAP for its previous claim of the BJP setting aside Rs 800 crore to break their party, a claim which was supposed to be backed by an audio tape. However, the tape has not been disclosed yet.

Poonawalla concluded his statement by accusing the AAP of having a track record of making the most number of lies and untruthful statements.

As the political tensions continue to rise, the public awaits further developments in this unfolding controversy.
