PM Modi Asserts New India’s Stance Against Terrorism at News 18 Rising Bharat Summit 2024

In a powerful address at the News 18 Rising Bharat Summit 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a veiled attack on Pakistan over its support to cross-border terrorism. He asserted that the new India does not tolerate the pain of terrorism but teaches a lesson to those resorting to such violence.

“The condition of those who gave India terror attacks is being seen by people all over the world,” said PM Modi, highlighting the global recognition of India’s firm stance against terrorism.

The Prime Minister referred to the Balakot airstrikes carried out by the Indian Air Force on a terror camp in Pakistan on February 26, 2019. This decisive action was in response to the Pulwama terror attack, marking a significant shift in India’s approach towards handling cross-border terrorism.

PM Modi also revealed that he had addressed the Network-18 Rising India Summit on the evening before the air strikes, indicating the strategic planning and execution of the operation.
