Padma Awardee Dr. Damayanti Beshra and Former BJD Leader Sidhant Mohapatra Join BJP

New Delhi: In a significant political development, Padma awardee Dr. Damayanti Beshra and former Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Sidhant Mohapatra have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Following their induction into the party, both leaders met with BJP national president JP Nadda in the national capital.

Dr. Beshra, an esteemed academician and recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri, expressed her eagerness to contribute to the nation’s progress under the BJP’s leadership. “It is a moment of pride for me to join a party that prioritizes the nation’s development and cultural heritage,” she stated during the meeting.
