The political climate in the capital city took a dramatic turn today as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a massive protest at the Income Tax Office (ITO), demanding the resignation of Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal.

Kejriwal, who is currently in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), is facing charges in the controversial Delhi Liquor Excise Case. The case has sent shockwaves through the political landscape of the city, leading to widespread demands for accountability and transparency.

The BJP, seizing the moment, mobilized its supporters and staged a large-scale demonstration at the ITO. The protesters, armed with placards and slogans, demanded the immediate resignation of the embattled Chief Minister.

The protest was largely peaceful, but the sheer scale of the demonstration underscored the gravity of the situation. The BJP leaders, addressing the crowd, reiterated their demand for Kejriwal’s resignation, stating that his continued tenure as Chief Minister was untenable given the serious nature of the charges against him.

The Delhi Liquor Excise Case has been a major point of contention in the city’s politics, with allegations of corruption and financial irregularities. Kejriwal’s arrest by the ED has only added fuel to the fire.

As the city awaits further developments, the pressure is mounting on Kejriwal to step down. Whether he chooses to fight the charges while in office or heed the calls for his resignation remains to be seen.
