Reacting to the extradition of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Tahawwur Hussain Rana, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said the development reflects the Modi government's unwavering stance on national security.

"The first resolve of the Narendra Modi government is that we will have zero tolerance against crime," Tiwari stated. He noted that continuous efforts were underway to bring Rana, the alleged mastermind behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks, back to India.

Taking a dig at previous administrations, Tiwari added, “Before 2014, the governments wanted to save such people. Today, because of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Tahawwur Rana is finally being extradited.”

He concluded by affirming that justice will now take its course through Indian courts, and the punishment for Rana's alleged role in one of India’s worst terror attacks will be decided through due process.
