A man was killed by his better half's relatives, including her dad, in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri region last night, as the two had hitched against the wishes of the family.

The administrator of police for Shivpuri region, Rajesh Singh Chandel, said that the person in question, Dhiru Jat, and his significant other, Chhaya, both from the Jat people group, absconded and got hitched a long time back in Machhavali town in Karaira tehsil in Shivpuri.

The lady's family was not content with the marriage. Expecting that his significant other might be killed, Dhiru escaped to Ahmedabad with Chhaya and went into business. The couple there had a little girl as well.

Dhiru got back to the town with Chhaya after around two years on Diwali, trusting that his better half's family would acknowledge them.

On Saturday night, when Dhiru went to a shop in the town with his family members, Chhaya's dad Suresh, uncle Kadam, and four others seized him, brought him close to Kadam's home, and attacked him.

Chhaya's uncle hit Dhiru's head with the handle of a rifle. One of the men then, at that point, attacked him with a hatchet, harming him in the neck and killing him on the spot.

A homicide case has been enrolled at the Karaira police headquarters against Chhaya's dad, her uncle, and four others. All the blamed are as of now on the run. The police have renounced the permit for the rifle utilised in the wrongdoing.
