In a shocking turn of events, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on allegations of a liquor scam. The arrest has sparked a political storm, with BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi making a scathing attack on Kejriwal and his party.

Trivedi stated, “Arvind Kejriwal has become the first CM in the history of this country who did not care to leave his position even during the arrest.” He further compared Kejriwal’s actions to those of Lalu Prasad Yadav, implying that Kejriwal has surpassed Yadav in this regard.

The BJP MP criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which once promised to bring ‘politics of integrity’ to the country. He questioned the ‘staunch honesty’ of the party, pointing out that despite the court rejecting the petition, Kejriwal did not step down from his position.

The allegations revolve around a liquor policy that was introduced by the Delhi government two years ago and subsequently withdrawn after an investigation. Trivedi questioned the AAP’s stance, “Arvind Kejriwal’s government withdrew the policy (Delhi Liquor) and now firmly defending it. I wish to ask if it was correct then why it was withdrawn in the first place?

The arrest of the Delhi CM has sent ripples through the political landscape, raising questions about the integrity of the AAP and its leadership. As the situation unfolds, the citizens of Delhi await further developments in this high-profile case.
