Delhi BJP Chief Declines Interest in CM Post

In a surprising turn of events, Delhi BJP Chief Virendraa Sachdeva has publicly stated that he and his party are not interested in the Chief Minister’s post. This statement comes amidst the ongoing political discussions and speculations about the next Chief Minister of Delhi.

“We are not after the CM post,” Sachdeva said, addressing a press conference earlier today. He further added, “Saurabh Bharadwaj, Atishi, and their other leaders wanted to become CM. Kejriwal yesterday named them. Atishi named Raghav Chhadha and Durgesh also.”

This statement has stirred up the political scene in Delhi, as it is unusual for a party leader to publicly decline interest in the top post. It is yet to be seen how this will impact the political dynamics in the state.

The BJP has been in a tough fight with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi. The recent naming of potential CM candidates by AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has intensified the political discourse.

While the BJP seems to be focusing on other aspects rather than the CM post, it remains to be seen how this strategy will play out in the upcoming elections. As the political landscape continues to evolve, the citizens of Delhi eagerly await the outcome.
