BJP’s Tarun Chugh Slams Mamata Banerjee, Accuses Her of Vote Bank Politics and Misrule in Bengal

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of abandoning her original slogan of “Maa, Manush, Mati” and embracing communal and vote bank politics instead.

“Mamata Banerjee's misrule has changed from 'Maa, Manush and Mati' to protecting Muslims, Muslim League, rioters, Muslim vote bank politics and giving shelter to all wrongdoers,” Chugh said in a scathing statement.

He alleged that under the Trinamool Congress government, atrocities against Hindus have increased and that the administration is targeting Hindu citizens and businessmen. “Rape of Hindus, targeting Hindu citizens, businessmen has become Mamata Banerjee's tag line,” he claimed.

Chugh further said that the people of West Bengal are eager for change and “want freedom from jungle raj.” The remarks come amid ongoing political unrest and communal tensions in parts of Bengal, with both BJP and TMC trading accusations in the run-up to the elections.

The TMC has yet to respond to the latest allegations made by the BJP leader.
