BJP Spokesperson Criticizes AAP’s Governance Amidst Corruption Allegations

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its leader, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, for their handling of corruption allegations within the party.

Poonawalla stated, “The courts are continuously showing the real face of the Aam Aadmi Party, how they have changed from those who used to say first resignation and then investigation. Today forget resignation, forget investigation, they are standing with those whom they alleged are involved in corruption.”

He further compared the AAP’s governance to that of notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar, who famously continued his operations from within prison walls. “They are running their government from inside the jail just like Pablo Escobar used to run his operations from inside the jail,” Poonawalla said.

This statement comes amidst a series of corruption allegations against the AAP, which has led to increased scrutiny of the party’s governance and ethics. Critics argue that the party, which initially positioned itself as a champion of transparency and accountability, has strayed from its founding principles.

The AAP has yet to respond to Poonawalla’s comments. As the situation unfolds, the public and the courts await the party’s next steps in addressing these allegations.
