BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi Accuses Congress Leaders of Land Grabbing in Karnataka

BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi leveled serious allegations against the Congress party regarding land grab scandals in Karnataka. Referring to the decision to return previously allotted land after objections were raised, Trivedi stated, “This clearly proves that the work of grabbing land by misusing power was going on at its highest level in Karnataka.”

Trivedi highlighted past incidents involving prominent Congress leaders, including Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, who was booked in a land grab case in 2015. He further alleged that the Karnataka Chief Minister was involved in the MUDA scam, while Mallikarjun Kharge’s family members faced scrutiny in connection with the KIADB land grab case.

“The entire top leadership of the Congress is equally involved in the land grabbing movement,” Trivedi asserted. He criticized Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Kharge for their recent offer to return plots linked to the alleged land scams, claiming it was not a gesture of conscience but an attempt to avoid the “humiliation of court proceedings.”

Trivedi's comments come amid ongoing political tensions in Karnataka, with the BJP seeking to highlight corruption within the Congress ranks as a key issue ahead of upcoming elections. The allegations are expected to fuel further debates between the two parties as they navigate the political landscape in the state.
