BJP MP Deepak Prakash Criticizes Jharkhand Government Over Rising Crime Rates

BJP Member of Parliament Deepak Prakash has strongly criticized the Jharkhand state government for its handling of the rising crime rates, alleging that criminals in the region are being protected by the ruling party. Prakash stated that the lack of action against criminals has emboldened them, creating an environment of fear and lawlessness in the state.

In a statement, Prakash said, "Jharkhand is in the clutches of crime and criminals. The ruling party there protects the criminals, which has boosted their morale." He further added, "If the government has the guts, then it should catch the criminals and bring them before the public."

The MP's remarks come in the wake of growing concerns about the safety and security situation in Jharkhand, where reports of violent crimes, extortion, and illegal activities have raised alarms among the public. Prakash's statement echoes the frustrations of many who feel that the state government is not doing enough to tackle the rising criminal activities.

Prakash also suggested that the ruling party's failure to take firm action against lawbreakers has led to a sense of impunity among criminals, who continue to operate with little fear of prosecution. His comments are likely to intensify the ongoing political debate in Jharkhand, with the BJP pushing for stronger law enforcement and greater accountability from the state government.

The allegations of criminal protection and a lack of governance have ignited a war of words between the BJP and the ruling party in Jharkhand. While the opposition parties, including the BJP, call for action against crime, the state government has yet to respond to these latest accusations. As the issue gains national attention, it remains to be seen whether Prakash's criticism will prompt any significant changes in the state's approach to law and order.
