BJP MLA Kailash Gahlot today visited the site of the ongoing construction of a new passenger terminal in Delhi. The inspection focused on the progress of the project, which is being developed by the Ministry of Railways. During his visit, Gahlot was accompanied by officials from the railways and other responsible departments.

"The building of the passenger terminal is being constructed here. Today, we inspected it, and officials from the railways and all the responsible departments were also present. This is a project of the Railway Ministry, which will be completed at a cost of Rs 1500 crores," Gahlot shared with the media.

The new terminal, which is expected to be a significant addition to Delhi’s transport infrastructure, aims to improve passenger facilities and decongest existing terminals. Gahlot expressed his optimism about the project’s completion, highlighting the importance of modernizing the city’s transport infrastructure to meet the growing demand for travel.

"I am hopeful that this project will be completed very soon, and it will provide better services to the people," Gahlot added. The project is expected to play a crucial role in improving connectivity and passenger experience in Delhi, one of the busiest cities in India for rail travel.

The new terminal is part of the broader efforts to upgrade Delhi’s railway infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the needs of the growing population and facilitates smooth, efficient travel. With an investment of Rs 1500 crores, the terminal is expected to offer world-class facilities, ease congestion, and contribute to the city's overall infrastructure development.
