BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday praised the people of Maharashtra for their unwavering support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, following the swearing-in of Devendra Fadnavis as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Chugh emphasized that the victory reflected the people's endorsement of PM Modi's policies, particularly his focus on uplifting the poor and backward sections of society.

"People of Maharashtra have openly blessed BJP and PM Modi. This blessing is the people's mandate for PM's work and schemes for poor and backward people," said Chugh in a statement. His remarks came in the wake of the swearing-in ceremony of Devendra Fadnavis, who will lead the state government along with key allies Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar.

Chugh highlighted the leadership of Fadnavis, Shinde, and Pawar, expressing confidence that the trio would continue to advance Prime Minister Modi's vision for the state's development, particularly for marginalized communities. "Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar will take forward the vision of PM Modi for poor and backward people," he added.

The BJP leader’s comments underscore the party's commitment to ensuring the welfare of all sections of society, including the economically disadvantaged, and reflect the strong alliance that has formed to govern Maharashtra. With Fadnavis taking the helm, the BJP aims to further its development agenda, which has been central to Modi's leadership at the national level.

Chugh's statement also served as a reminder of the political strength and unity within the Maharashtra alliance, as the state government prepares to implement policies focused on development and social welfare in the coming years.
