Delhi, India - In a recent development, BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla has criticized Congress leader Randeep Surjewala’s statement on veteran actress and BJP MP Hema Malini. Poonawalla has accused the Congress of disrespecting women, stating that “Narishakti’s ‘Apmaan’ is Congress’ only ‘Pahchaan’.”

Poonawalla’s comments come in response to Surjewala’s recent remarks, which have been described as “cruel, crude, obnoxious, disgusting, misogynistic, and sexist.” Poonawalla further highlighted that Surjewala had previously referred to the ‘Janata’ as ‘Rakshas’, and no action has been taken against him for these comments.
