BJP Leader Nalin Kohli Criticizes Robert Vadra Over Statement on Terror Attack

  • April 23, 2025, 4:32 p.m.

BJP leader Nalin Kohli strongly condemned a recent statement made by Robert Vadra, calling it "totally condemnable" and lacking sensitivity towards the victims of a recent terrorist attack. Kohli contrasted Vadra's remarks with the swift actions taken by the central leadership, noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut short his foreign visit to Saudi Arabia and held multiple high-level meetings upon arrival, while Home Minister Amit Shah immediately traveled to the Valley.

Kohli accused Vadra of engaging in "dirty level politics" and using rhetoric that resembles that of terrorist sympathizers. He demanded an apology from Vadra and called on the Congress party—specifically Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra—to clarify whether they support or disavow the statement.

"This kind of politics is dangerous and deeply insensitive," Kohli asserted, urging the opposition to maintain unity on national security matters.
