Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Submits Flood Damage Report to Amit Shah

In response to the recent devastating floods and heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in Delhi today. During the meeting, Chouhan presented the preliminary report detailing the extensive damage inflicted by the severe weather conditions in the affected regions.

The report outlines the significant impact of the floods and heavy rains on infrastructure, homes, and agricultural lands in both states. It highlights the urgent need for a coordinated response to address the immediate challenges and begin the process of recovery and rebuilding.

Following the submission of the report, Chouhan took to social media to announce the next steps. "Soon the central team will visit the affected areas and assess the damage," he tweeted. This visit is expected to provide a more comprehensive evaluation of the situation and help in formulating a targeted relief strategy.

The central government is anticipated to deploy a specialized team to carry out on-ground assessments and work closely with state authorities to expedite relief efforts.
