Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has sharply criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent comments made abroad, accusing him of consistently speaking against India and its institutions. Rijiju's remarks come amid ongoing political tensions and public debates surrounding Gandhi’s international engagements.

At a press conference today, Rijiju stated, “Rahul Gandhi has this habit, in fact, he has developed this habit over the years to go outside the country and talk against the country.” He further elaborated on Gandhi’s recent criticisms, emphasizing that the Congress leader has made a pattern of attacking the BJP, RSS, and other nationalist organizations during his international visits.

Rijiju’s criticism focused on Gandhi’s statements made during his trips to the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries. The Union Minister suggested that Gandhi's international rhetoric is aimed at undermining India’s reputation and its key institutions. “Who invites them to the US, UK, or elsewhere we all know it. So their motive is very clear,” Rijiju said, implying that Gandhi and his supporters are using these platforms to launch critiques against India’s democratic institutions, including the Supreme Court and the Election Commission of India.

Rijiju described Gandhi’s actions as indicative of his “immaturity,” accusing him of consistently using international platforms to criticize domestic political entities and national institutions. This critique reflects broader political tensions and highlights the ongoing debate over the appropriate conduct for Indian leaders on the global stage.

The comments from Rijiju are likely to intensify the ongoing political discourse, particularly as the country approaches key electoral events and national discussions on governance and political conduct. Gandhi’s international statements and Rijiju’s response underscore the deep divisions in Indian politics and the challenges faced by leaders in navigating both domestic and international political arenas.
