TMC Now Stands for ‘Too Much Confusion, Too Much Chaos’: BJP’s Shehzad Poonawalla on Party Infighting

Amid reports of internal discord within the Trinamool Congress (TMC), BJP National Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla launched a sharp attack on the Mamata Banerjee-led party, calling it a symbol of chaos and infighting.

“TMC has now become ‘too much confusion, too much chaos’,” said Poonawalla. “MPs are abusing each other and grabbing each other's collars inside the Election Commission office. If this is the state of their leadership, how will they take Bengal forward?”

He further claimed that the TMC’s internal WhatsApp group had become a ground for personal accusations. “They are discussing the affairs and character of a so-called ‘versatile international woman’ among their MPs. Let Mamata Banerjee clarify who she is referring to,” he added, taking a dig at the party’s leadership.

Poonawalla questioned the TMC's ability to focus on governance, stating, “If they fight so much among themselves, how will they keep Bengal on the path of development?”

The BJP has consistently targeted the TMC on allegations of corruption, lawlessness, and internal instability as election season heats up in West Bengal.
