Political Tensions Rise in Delhi: Defamation Notice Sent Amidst Allegations

Delhi, India - The political landscape in Delhi has been stirred up following a series of allegations and counter-allegations between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Virendraa Sachdeva, the Delhi BJP chief, has accused Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi of lying. “Her allegations are baseless and it is in AAP’s nature to lie,” Sachdeva stated. He further added that the BJP had given Atishi time to apologize, but she did not. As a result, the BJP has sent a defamation notice to Atishi.

This comes after Atishi made a bold claim yesterday that the BJP had approached her to join their party. She also alleged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) would arrest her within a month if she refused to join the BJP.

The BJP has categorically denied these allegations, leading to an escalation in tensions between the two parties. The defamation notice sent by the BJP to Atishi marks a new chapter in this ongoing political saga.

As the situation unfolds, the citizens of Delhi await further developments. The political climate in the capital remains charged as both parties stand their ground.
