BJP Spokesperson Critiques AAP Leadership, Compares It to Lalu-Rabri and Manmohan-Sonia Models

BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari has sharply criticized the leadership style of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and her predecessor Arvind Kejriwal, accusing them of attempting to replicate governance models associated with former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi, as well as the Manmohan Singh-Sonia Gandhi era.

In a recent press conference, Bhandari stated, “Atishi and Arvind Kejriwal want to run the government like the Lalu-Rabri model and the Manmohan-Sonia model. They want to run a corrupt government.” He asserted that the people of Delhi are demanding accountability, questioning why a “rubber stamp or a puppet CM” has been appointed to lead.

Bhandari emphasized that the situation has devolved into a conflict of “people of Delhi vs AAP,” claiming that the current leadership displays a disdain for the citizens they represent. “Atishi and Kejriwal hate the people of Delhi so much that they cannot provide them with a temporary CM but a puppet CM,” he stated.

This latest criticism adds to the ongoing tensions between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as both parties gear up for upcoming elections. Bhandari’s comments reflect the BJP’s strategy to frame AAP’s leadership as ineffective and disconnected from the needs of Delhi residents.

As the political discourse intensifies, both parties will likely continue to engage in pointed exchanges aimed at swaying public opinion and securing voter loyalty in the capital.
