BJP MP Dinesh Sharma Criticizes TMC Over Voter List Controversy, Predicts Mamata Banerjee’s Defeat

BJP MP Dinesh Sharma has strongly criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC) over its allegations regarding the voter list, calling it an excuse to justify an impending defeat in West Bengal. Sharma asserted that TMC is creating unnecessary controversy as it faces growing opposition in the state.

"They know that they lost Maharashtra, they lost Haryana, they lost UP by-elections. They also know that due to their actions, they are going to lose Bengal too. So, they need some support. This is the pain right before their loss in Bengal," Sharma said.

Dismissing the accusations against the BJP, he questioned the logic behind the claims that his party was manipulating the voter list. "They have not done any work, so they will make an issue out of the voter list, out of EVMs. There needs to be something behind their loss. The state belongs to them, and BJP is changing the voter list? This is hilarious," he added.

Sharma further predicted that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s tenure is coming to an end. "I think Mamata Banerjee is in the last days of her rule in Bengal. She is never going to come to power ever again," he declared.

With elections in West Bengal approaching, the war of words between the BJP and TMC has intensified. While TMC has raised concerns over alleged irregularities, the BJP maintains that the ruling party is trying to shift blame for its own failures. The political battle in Bengal is expected to heat up further in the coming days.
